Morning Light
Dog fur, bed sheets, tooth brush, water.
Breakfast, coffee, drink more water.
The sun, the fog, and the trees between,
The calm, the smoke, today and me.
Morning light rises
And we curl the leaves
Afternoon Bloom
Stop
And go
Under this
And over that
Keeping up and on
My hands are too full
And the sun is too bright
The seconds shorten
And the day gleams
Still as time
Moments
Stop
Moon Riser
Revolutions of revolutions
Under a day already done
Speaking softly and walking slow
With tired hands, and bellies full
Unwind, unravel, let go
The moon, the stars, the clouds
Alone, obscure, and bright
Immense shimmering stillness
Baptism by moonlight
